JOB SUMMARY:
Executes regional trade marketing activities and campaigns under the guidance of the Assistant
Manager, ensuring timely rollout, accurate reporting, and consistent execution quality across
assigned clusters.
Coordinates closely with Operations, Brand, and vendors to monitor implementation, resolve issues,
and identify improvement opportunities for future activations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Area Execution Leadership & POSM Governance
• Lead and oversee the execution of all Regional Trade Programs and
promotions within the assigned Area, delivering on-time, on-brand, on
budget, ensuring strict adherence to the standards and execution
guidelines set by the Assistant Trade Manager
• Manage, coach, and deploy the team of Trade Marketing Specialists
within the Area, assigning tasks, setting execution targets, and monitoring
their daily performance and store coverage
• Oversee the Area’s POSM inventory and distribution cycle, ensuring
timely, accurate delivery, and quality installation of all Merchandising
materials at every existing store
• Conduct routine, detailed store audits and on-site quality checks (QC)
to ensure “Perfect Store” with the highest level of execution quality and
immediate correction of non-compliance issues
2.Performance Tracking, Analysis & Operations Enablement
• Track and analyze key store performance metrics (e.g., Sales Uplift
from promotions, Merchandising compliance scores, competitor activities)
within the Area, identifying specific store clusters requiring immediate
attention
• Generate timely and accurate performance reports (execution photos,
compliance data, market feedback) for the Assistant Trade Manager and
the Regional Operations counterpart
• Collaborate daily with Area Operations to address local execution
issues, ensure product availability, and provide necessary Trade support
• Identify and document localized consumer/competitor insights and
report actionable insights to the Regional Assistant Trade Manager for
potential localized program adjustment.
3.Vendor & Resource Management
• Manage the relationship and performance of local vendors/agencies
involved in POSM installation, maintenance, or local activation activities,
holding them accountable to service level agreements (SLAs)
• Manage the Area’s expense budget for Trade activities, collecting and
verifying all invoices and expense claims from Specialists and vendors to
ensure financial transparency and accurate reporting
• Conduct regular performance reviews with Specialists, setting clear
individual KPIs related to execution quality, store coverage, and
compliance
• Ensure Specialist/ Assistant is fully trained on Trade MTK 101, new
promotional mechanics, Merchandising standards, and Brand guidelines
before program deployment
4. Business Support & Ad-hoc Project Management
• Proactively lead and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned, ensuring OTIF
delivery, cost control, and risk mitigation.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education
- Bachelor‘s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Brand Activation, preferably in the FMCG or QSR industry.
3. Training / License / Certification
- Marketing Foundation.
- Project Management.
- Data Analytics (preferred).
